What's the story, morning glory?
Too Late, Too Loud was born and raised in the suburbs of Cleveland,
Ohio. Way back in '94, Dan Corrigan, drummer, and Dustin Green, lead guitarist, teamed up to take on Greenview Upper
Elementry. As time went on, the two became unstoppable and have now been playng together for over 7 years. 6 years after meeting
eachother, Dan met Laura Brunkala through the Brush Arc's Marching Band. Shortly thereafter, Laura met Dustin through the
Soundsation Showchoir band where the trio jammed hardcore to such classic tunes as "Charleston" and "Shimmy," which featured
Dan Corrigan with a bad ass conga solo.
Dan and Dustin started their rock history
with Herbnjas in 2001, featuring Matt Brower on vocals and Matt Jaffe on bass. Although the band had a blazing start, they
fizzled out at Kent in 2003. Although the band split, Dan and Dustin stayed together in the hopes of forming a new band. There
was talk about a Third Eye Blind cover band, but there was no one to fill the role of vocalist, Stephen Jenkins. When
Laura heard the news, she jumped at the opportunity to sing with the big boys and the unnamed band went on to master a plethora
of covers and have practices that could go on for hours.
Shortly following the cover band formation, a new
band was formed when Matt Jaffe and Matt Meleragno were asked to play with the trio. The bakery was spawned and went on to
play for a summer and produce a short demo. Unfortunatly, Matt Jaffe went to OSU for the following summer and Matt Meleragno
went MIA after getting in a car accident. The trio forged on.
One night, at an evening jam session, the trio
was playing covers at 12 pm in Dan's basement. There was a knock at the door. All we heard was "Too Late, Too Loud, son" "Okay
officer" and here we stand today, writing songs via the internet and playing when we get the chance, which is more than a
lot as of late. The bass player policy, as of now, stands as a revolving door. Look for us in Kent, Cleveland, and Oxford,
Ohio, as well as Boston and NY this summer. Let the legend live on.
